As it stands, we encourage our team members to utilize our “Mental Wealth” benefit, which allows them to have 50% of their therapy session costs reimbursed (up to $200/month). We also have a “May Mental Health Moves” program during the month of May to introduce team members to healthy self-care habits such as mindfulness meditation, mindful time outside, and journaling. During this month, we provide learning materials, facilitate small groups for discussions and accountability, and meet up weekly to promote team bonding and practice the self-care habits.
For our leadership team of 25 members (executive board, corporate staff, and management team), we hold a bi-monthly “Masterminds Meeting” where we teach topics that will help personally and professionally. Topics have included “Building Good Habits”, “Goal Setting”, “Workplace Culture”, “Deep Work”, “Time Blocking & Time Management”, “The Importance of Sleep”, “Emotional Intelligence”, and “Work-Life Balance: The Perfect Day.”
